Graafiline disain: Ingmar Järve
RUA 2021: Ida-Virumaa vol. 2
From the 14th until the 19th of June the 4th edition of RUA street art festival returned for the second year in a row to Eastern Estonia. This time the artists painted in the towns of Jõhvi, Kohtla-Järve and Kiviõli and in the villages of Voka and Tudulinna.
This fun and memorable adventure amidst the Slavic part of Estonia brought along new experiences to everyone involved. Around ten Estonian and international artists discovered areas in the Eastern region and basically brough street art there for the first time. We’ll all remember fondly the local creative scene from Jaama 6 who introduced the festival to Jõhvi’s local creative community and threw us an unforgettable farewell party on the Toila beach.
