7th edition of RUA street art festival in Elva municipality from the 27th to 1st of June 2024
In 2024, RUA festival takes place in the town of Elva and five villages of Elva's municipality. Around ten local and international artists will gather together to create wall paintings in order to brighten up the everyday surroundings of the local people.
The heroes of the festival are the artists! Brilliant street artists from seven different countries will shape the look of RUA in 2024. Each artist has an individual style and it will be absolutely thrilling to see the compositions they've created for Estonian tiny towns!
As it's become a tradition at RUA, a painting will also be created in a local carecenter, also a street art youth camp will take place, as well as a community wall painting workshop and a tour to the freshly painted walls. The process of creating a wall painting is a rare sight, so find yourself a map of Elva and come explore the villages as well as the making-of!
